Get Pushed 41 entry. Frank Hymus @frankhymus said " I see very few Black and White/Greyscale images in your albums, and none in the classic style of "high contrast B/W." My challenge to you is to find a suitable subject, any subject, any style, suitable for this conversion and then do it. Here's just one reference that might assist you. There are many more out there if you Google on "High Contrast Black and White Photo.""
Very clever image! The line of light across the to top of the keyboard is just the thing to set off the shot. Do you have an editor to take out the noise in the greys. Strange we don't see it on the blacks though. That would make it perfect. Nicely done though.
@la_photographic Ah, even better then. Several places you can go. Open the image, even if a jpeg, in Camera Raw and go to the "details" panel and manipulate the Noise Reduction sliders there, the top one especially. Pull it most of the way to the right. Or in Photoshop itself, open the image and use Filer | Noise | Reduce Noice and drag the strength to the right. Good luck!
