Hi. Thanks very much for your comment on my site about mentoring. I'd be very happy to offer some critique - and maybe you could do the same for me? I take quite a few portraits, all in natural light haven't got my head around other lighting yet. I'm not sure I can be much help with selfies but I would like to do more myself. Maybe we could encourage each other to take more selfies and see how that goes? Rachel
@rachelwithey That would be great although I don't know how to get a good one of my face. I have no problem photographing my hand or feet but when it comes to photographing my face or my whole body it looks really bad (worse than I actually look like in real life - I think). When I photograph other people I generally use natural lighting too although a lot of people I know don't like their photo taken and I don't like asking strangers if I can take their photo.
Where would you like to start? We could both try and have a go at portraits, both have a go at selfies, pick another subject are or just do a week or so of critique on each other's shots. What would work best for you?
Next week we could both do atleast 1 portrait and 1 selfie and also critique the ones we do. At the end of next week we could see what we think and decide then if we want to do the same or something else.
