I went geocaching because I had to. I had a travel bug for way too long that wanted to travel on holidays...
I drove north until I left the rain behind me, parked and checked my phone for the nearest cache. It ended up being in a gross swamp area and due to the trees my gps lost signal and I wandered around lost for a few hours. I got stuck in the swamp, the muck overflowing my rainboots (which I learned had holes in them). But all in all it was a great adventure and I had a lot of fun. I even ended up finding 2/3 of the caches in the area!
