On the 2nd day of Halloween I watched the VVitch: A New England Folktale. It was pretty slow and had an underwhelming plot. The movie ends with text stating that the movie was based on folktales, and that “much of the dialogue comes directly from these period sources” but I had to have the subtitles on to understand some of what was being said (especially by the father) and that took me out of the movie. Overall would not recommend.
