Back on the road again

Bjorn and Eli left us today, on a pilgrimage first to Cognac, then Bordeaux, then Normandy, leaving behind happy memories and not a few empty bottles.

I really enjoyed this photo. Long long ago (1976) we did a trip on a 750 Honda. (This bike is still in our garage). We went from Bloemfontein to Vic Falls, Kariba, dam etc in Zimbabwe. The two of us. At night time we slept in a little tent as big as a double bed. What a experience and friendly people along the way. Pity we did not have these type of cameras at that time. Photos are few and most are slides. I do have a licence to drive one of these bikes, but do not dare to now!!!
