D914 at the bridge over la Massane

I think I could do a whole project on light trails if I lived in a city. Here the traffic is not very heavy, but I eventually worked out that I could use long exposures and put my hand over the lens when there were no cars in the shot. This was 20s but I did some at 50s. You can see Chateau Valmy lit up to the right of the road, and the Tour de Madeloc on the skyline behind it.
I love this. I would like to try it as soon as I get the chance.

I agree, there's something about the light trails (like bokeh) that I always like. You're getting pretty tricky with your hand over the lens idea!

I'm inclined to make a speeding car sound while looking at this...Vooooooooom....

Great light trails. I tried some recently but there wasn't enough traffic to make it interesting - if I'd known about the hand over the lens trick.....
