The Survivor

I don't like hyacinths, I don't know why. This one was a gift from some neighbours. I planted it in the garden in the hope that it would succumb either to the weather, the summer heat, or to Jasper, our dog. It's still there though, thriving, getting bigger every year, flowering every February, taunting me just by still being there.
They re super colour. I do agree the scent is overpowering.

I do like the old hyacinths, especially a good Chelsea blue like this one, so I'm hoping it continues to thrive, sorry..

I'm a fan of them. They don't bloom generally until March around here, so I'll just have to enjoy yours.

Beautiful colours and light! Haha I have never seen or smelt them in real life so I don't know what's not to like :P

So funny--my husband hates them (and he seldom has much of an opinion on flowers, so I have to enjoy my neighbor's (although it will be two more months before we have any)

Yep... This one is a keeper - sadly for you. I love the colour but am not a great lover of their overpowering scent either.
