The temperature's rising (to quote Chuck Berry)

Our daughter told us today that she and our new grandson will be visiting us for a month in April/May. They live in Molde, Norway, where it is currently 3°C. So I decided to send them a pic of our outside thermometer, to cheer them up. And no, it is not in Fahrenheit.
WE had a beautiful day but nothing like your temps. Do the French say, like the Irish when we get a few nice days early in the year " we'll pay for this yet " ? maybe it's an Irish thing to be pessimistic , your friend Enda called us whingers this week...

They are going to love the warmer temps. How fun it is that they will get to be there for a month!

That is the perfect pleasant temperature!

I'm sure she's looking forward to visiting--probably wishes she made plans for earlier.

@jack4john Interesting tactic from Enda, insulting the electorate. Perhaps he is trying to model himself on Donald Trump.

@jack4john The nearest I could find is "Noël au balcon, Pâques au tison" - Christmas on the balcony, Easter by the hearth. We all get ground down a bit by life, even in sunny France, and learn not to expect too much.

Thanks for sharing. This is about our min temp at the moment. Not so hot max 36 degrees C tomorrow. We had 40 degrees in December.
