Our daughter told us today that she and our new grandson will be visiting us for a month in April/May. They live in Molde, Norway, where it is currently 3°C. So I decided to send them a pic of our outside thermometer, to cheer them up. And no, it is not in Fahrenheit.
WE had a beautiful day but nothing like your temps. Do the French say, like the Irish when we get a few nice days early in the year " we'll pay for this yet " ? maybe it's an Irish thing to be pessimistic , your friend Enda called us whingers this week...
@jack4john The nearest I could find is "Noël au balcon, Pâques au tison" - Christmas on the balcony, Easter by the hearth. We all get ground down a bit by life, even in sunny France, and learn not to expect too much.
