Taken in December 2013. Returning home for Christmas from a foreign assignment, I had a day to myself in Paris. I walked from my hotel near the Gare de Lyon along the Seine down to Les Invalides, taking photos with a small compact camera. This photo has not been Photoshopped - it was a cold grey morning, but suddenly some sun broke through and lit up the trees. I think it was this day that I decided to take a greater interest in photography.
I,m having a real Paris reboot my self, I dug out an old hard drive to see what I had from a visit we made to Paris and Troyes back in 2008. I was instantly taken back and decided to edit a few pictures from then. France was my first ever continental holiday back in 1981 and I have been back a few times since . So sorry for all the pain and fear that you are going through at the moment, but sure as a nation you will come through..
