@mbrutus Thank you. It was 1 pm, but in terms of the daylight hours, which were 5.30 am to 5.30 pm, I suppose it was mid-afternoon. The snow must have an effect on the light I suppose.

@laroque Very interestingI saw the shadows on the hill and assumed the sun was fairly low.

@mbrutus Honningsvår s the port where people get off to go to the North Cape, the most northerly point in Europe. Still 2000 km from the North pole, but the sun is pretty low throughout the day.
