The South Pole by laroque

The South Pole

Lamanère is the southernmost village in mainland France. It sits high in the Pyrenees, at the end of a long, winding road, and is home to 27 people. There's only one sport hereabouts and the signpost, in the colours of the Catalan flag, points to the stadiums (stadia?) of most of the main rugby-playing nations. Oddly missing though, are those of England, Scotland and France itself. Stolen by souvenir hunters, perhaps?
Nice shot and an interesting subject. As you say, strange that there are some rather obvious ones missing

Love the bright yellow signs against the drabber colors of the village.

The color contrast between signs and buildings is just striking. Like how you composed this.
