Port Vendres at night

I have re-programmed the video button on my camera to activate HDR mode instead. Tonight I must have pressed it accidently and didn't notice until I had taken several shots. So this is unintended HDR. I preferred this to the non-HDR colour shots because you can read some of the signs on the buildings, and can see more detail in the foreground. Port Vendres is specialised for the import of fruit and veg from North Africa and other Mediterranean ports.
Terrific shot! Wonderful detail.

Love the contrast and the lights.

Quite a lovely nighttime shot. Wonderful detail. I'm impressed you could take a better night shot by accident, than I can on purpose.

Very effective on black Tim. The introductory panorama to the infiltration of the baddies' warehouse by James Bond.

There is a wonderful subtle quality to this. I don't know much about HDR and this will certainly inspire me to look into it more. Really like the starburst on some of the lights as well.

Famous also for sea-food restaurants on the quay... we've eaten at quite a few of them. I love this treatment - very dramatic. I hate it when something good happens by accident as it's hell's delight finding out how to do it again!
