Plaça de la Independència, Girona

Again you've created a fascinating story: all these ordinary people going about their ordinary lives and there, on the left, a Goddess slipping out of the humdrum current to pursue her own dreams.

@vignouse You old romamtic! But you are absolutely right, she had a striking appearance and it was she that made me go 'click' before she disappeared through the arch. The decisive moment, as somebody once said.

Great capture. Perfect in B&W.

Just saw that you have an "experiments" album and came to check it out...you really did catch that "decisive" moment with the lovely lady...and I have never seen 0 mm before! Add to that, the lovely tonal range and imho, this is quite the shot. Sorry it took me so long to see it!

@granagringa Thank you for the comment. The EXIF data is not correct because I was using a non-electronic lens. It was an Olympus 9mm body cap (Google it for more info) which has a fixed focal length 9mm (equivalent to 18mm for full-frame) and a fixed f8.0 aperture. It is a cheap wide-angle and if you keep the camera horizontal then it minimises the fisheye effect. Click on the tag 9mmbodycap to see more examples.
