The Photo Club were given access to the recently-restored chapel last week. It is rarely used for religious ceremonies, but is sometimes used for classical and choir concerts. That's because the main church in our village of 2000 people is larger and even more magnificent. Everybody else did photos either from nearer the altar, thus excluding the chairs, or with the camera placed on the line of the aisle. The best photo was done by the club president, who waited until everybody else had gone, then turned off the lights and did a 13 second exposure using only daylight from the windows. The colours in that photo seemed to be more pleasing.
