Warming up at Valence

Quite a shock for us Southern types. When we got on the TGV at Perpignan it was T-shirt weather. 3 hours later when we got off to change trains at Valence it was as cold as I have ever been in France, -2C with a strong wind. We took refuge in one of the heated shelters on the platform.
