L'Abbaye Saint-Martin-du-Canigou

This Benedictine monastery has been here since 1009. This is a well-known view, seen on many postcards.Would have loved a bit of swirling cloud today, not an unrealistic thought since the buildings are at over 1000m altitude.

Sorry you didn't get cloud, we have plenty here and rain, and the view is well invisible. This is some sight, will have to google it for more info..

Mrs S - who suffers from vertigo - was completely freaked out when I stood on top of the buttresses peering down into the valley.
