Christmas countdown #1

Off to Spain today, a 20km drive, where everything is cheaper than in France, especially alcool. As a rule of thumb, you get a 1 litre bottle of the same brand of liquor at the price of a 70cl bottle in France, which means it is 30% cheaper ! Because Catalonia had Covid bad, and the frontier was closed for several months, this was the first visit this year. My task was to find sherry, vins de Jerez ou Xérès, an essential ingredient for some Christmas recipes, apparently. Other things not available or difficult to find in France, at all or at a reasonable price or in good quality, were on the shopping list - Jamón Ibérico, Hellman's mayonnaise, Heinz Baked Beans, cava and wines that are not French (just to have a change).

You used to be able to fill your own bidons from these barrels, but now because of Covid you buy them pre-filled.
No problem with pre-filled as long as the price and quality are good. How much do you have to drink to make an informed decision?
