They reminded me of the vulture barbershop quartet in Disney's 1960's animated Jungle Book, who spoke with Liverpool accents, presumably a nod to the popularity of the Fab Four at the time. Though I'm pretty sure these are not vultures. And nobody would want to listen to them, they grunt and growl and honk, and generally make a lot of noise.
