Every village, town and city has its own ceremony, which must leave the fire brigade a bit stretched. Apart from dealing with the seasonal forest and grassland fires, they are also manning quite a lot of vaccination centers. Congratulations therefore to our mayor, who this year managed to get two firemen AND the the big fire engine !
I've been caught out in France on Bastille Day, forgetting that shops shut and restaurants are full. Not seen a post from you for some time, so hope all is well.
