Cork harvest 2

This bark has been lying on the ground since it was harvested in June. Over the weekend it has all been stacked in piles like this, whether to be ready to be taken away or to continue drying, I don't know.

Jasper might have added some extra aroma to some of this cork, something to consider the next time you have the choice of a cork or screw-top on a bottle of wine.
