The first match of the Six Nations Championship is tonight, with the two strongest teams, Ireland and France, facing each other. Claude's bar was starting to get lively, but at 21h they will all move across the road to the Café des Artistes, which has a television. And to make things interesting, it is a sports bar run by an Irish family.
Aha. And we were in 'Bruces' bar'! A friend invited us round to theirs to watch the match. They have a massive, and I do mean massive, big screen projector style tv. We could never invite them to ours to watch the rugby, they'd need binoculars! ;-) An interesting result, and not at all what we expected. Hubby delighted though as he's an Irish supporter and never quite (and likely never will) got over the RWC result!
