Hardly ever seen in the wild

Getting ready to fix dinner and looked out my kitchen window and there on the ground was the elusive wild beach ball! It retreated into the bushes as I approached with camera.

It’s comical in a way. I can kind of visualize you trying to capture the shot as it keeps moving.
