Hi Lauren since I have started taking flowers Fiona has taken more interest in my 365 project & came into the study to see my flower shots that I'm becoming very proud of ;-) at the time I was looking at your bubble picture. Fiona agreed it was awesome BTW - along with many other of your shots getting that status. Anyway to cut a long story short she wanted to see your album & we looked through it backwards ending up here. We were going out again for Chris' birthday so were pushed for time & I also had to also make sure she saw my photos as well!!!! So was not able to comment on this one which I had not seen before so came back to it today. This is so so good Lauren very clever idea & also so well done. BTW Chris says your Ok for a kayaking lesson if your over here, but seriously if you do visit the Uk, my (well our) contact details are on my 365 home page & we would all be happy to show your husband & yourself around our area of the UK if you both wanted should you be over here at any point.
@spthorne :) Simon, this was so nice to read this morning. I'm really happy and flattered that Fiona looked at my pictures, only I'm sorry you both had to see some of the terrible ones especially near the beginning, lol. But, seriously that was very nice. Also so glad you are proud of your flowers because they are such great shots (I think as good as your door shots and landscapes!)
Also your comment on this picture means a lot to me because I remember when I took this picture how terrible I thought it was at the time. I remember I was really embarrassed and uncomfortable with this because I thought it was poorly done (the focus, lighting etc.) but also because I was self conscious, not liking to put myself in pictures. In fact after i posted this I was going to delete it, but then i got my first comment and decided to leave it, lol. So again, thank you for your kind comment.
Also I read your 365 home page, would it be alright with you if i added you to fb?
@laurentye Hi :-) we looked through most of your album & both enjoyed it so much - thank you. There were no terrible ones at the begining you just do better ones now! However this one is fantastic & it's your 1st shot so glad you left this shot on as it is so good & clever. Of course it is Ok to add me to your FB - I think the link thing is correct on my home page - if not shout & I'll check it. Glad the note made you happy & flattered you deserve the praise your a great photographer :-)
