Had a very frustrating picture taking evening. I couldn't think of anything I wanted to take a picture of all day and finally when my husband returned home at 10pm I decided it would be a great idea for us to go out with my wide angle lens, which I haven't used much.
Obviously I should have known that it was too dark to take the kind of pictures I had in mind - should have brought a tripod... My original idea was to take some night shots of my downtown area, but my pictures were all blurry of course. oh well next time. Hope you are all having a nice weekend!
hey this is really good I like it a lot in fact fav. Chris just poped in & thinks its awesome well perhaps AAU!! It seems to fit the title so well. For anyone looking view LARGE it is even better then. Chris says is this 2 photos layered????? I think it is one please settle the dispute :-)
It looks like fireflys in the sky
@spthorne hahaha Simon, I think you are crazy! I am not happy with this at all, and posted it out of frustration of having no good pictures, and you fav'd it, lol. Well, then I guess art is very subjective :D I'm sorry to tell Chris, but Simon you won the dispute it is just one picture- you had me laughing here :)
@spthorne lol you guys are funny :D Simon you are right (I'm sorry Chris - I don't want to tell him he's right, but it's true, lol) my shutter was at i think 2 seconds and when my arm moved the lights along the path made it look like that.
Does look cool...maybe more interesting without the tripod than it would have been with. What do you have for a wide angle? I think I'd have to test a Sigma, Canon and Tamron before buying one.
This looked very cool when viewed large. I thought it was a birthday cake from the thumbnail! Anyway, frustration leads to learning and I'll bet you learned something here. :)
@jgoldrup my wide angle is a sigma. and yeah i think all you can do is test them and choose what you like. i found searching reviews on the net not very helpful at all.
ooh i love my wide angle lens! it's so fun!
i also love the squiggles! i have a pic like this in my 365 too ... i chose it over the focussed ones, just for something different! :)
