I really can't believe I'm at the halfway point in this project! It seems strange...Some days this has felt so challenging, as if I wasn't sure that I would be able to do it EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. But other days, like today, it feels like time has gone by so quickly and it's surprising that it's been half a year already.
I was looking through my pictures on my computer -just quickly scrolling through my 365 file on my Mac- and it was funny how the pictures instantly bring up feelings and thoughts. For many of the photos, I can remember exactly what was going on in my life when the picture was taken. So strange, but good... An interesting way to look back on my year so far.
I felt some self induced pressure to take a "good" picture today, but decided I like this one because I think my camera deserves to be in a picture. The lens that is on it is the one I use probably 90% (or more!) of the time.
Congratulations on making to your halfway point. I shall look forward to following you the rest of the way Lauren. That's one thing that has never been in my 365 yet, is my own camera. I haven't taken a mirror shot yet.
I have the same camera, Lauren!! You're so right! When I read what you said I went to check my photos and guess what?? I have 186 photos..half way too! And I didn't notice that. Well, keep making us smile with your nice shots, my dear!
I guess it's not too bad...but it looks worse in the back than the front. It had a run-in with a goddamn inukshuk table centrepiece. Sharp rock bad for cameras!
Great idea taking a pic of the camera. Cool shot. I know what you mean about it being so challenging sometimes. I keep plugging along and hanging in there. Contrats on the half way mark for you.
CONGRATULATIONS Lauren........... Great idea for the shot your creative tool of choice..... BTW nice camera going now b4 jealousy sets in........... I want a DSLR & this shot is not helping me say NO to myself haha
congrats on making it half way!! and i am glad to hear you have been enjoying it so much! so have i!!! i think this is the funnest thing i have done in a long time for myself....and i too, love looking back at photos and remembering the time it was taken and what was going on. Such a great project :)
It's a very clean, crisp shot against the white background. Your camera's not in hospital is it? :P Congrats on making the halfway milestone. I'm not even halfway yet (160)...just another couple of hundred to go. Sigh.
* just would like to say a general thank you to all of you who viewed and commented, got a bit behind on properly thanking but have been going through your pics this evening to view and comment instead!
