Melted Snow on Pussy Willow by lauriehiggins

Melted Snow on Pussy Willow

Weird weather day. Snow, sun, snow. I took advantage of the hour of sunlight to take a walk in Nickerson State Park and found this pussy willow with a drop of melted snow against a dramatic sky. Wish it had been lighter, but it was late in the day.
Excellent waterdrop capture, and that sky is gorgeous! I don't think you needed any more light, I like it just fine as it is!

Thanks, Paula. I let my daughter choose the photo of the day, because yesterday my son choose. He approved too. That sky was so crazy! Rick, I can't believe you are posting after surgery, but I'm so happy that it obviously went well. Heading your way to learn more.

Love the blues, the silhouette and the focus on the droplet. Weird weather day doesn't begin to describe yesterday! I don't know if it happened on the Cape, but after the snow melted and the sun came out, it got dark and we had heavy snow again... and then again!

We had the same exact weather with some hail thrown in for good measure. About an hour after I took this shot it was snowing like crazy again.

Same here near Worcester. And today was cold, but the sky was amazing all day! That's a really beautiful photo! I love the pink tone in the sky, and the silhouette, and the drop. :-)
