Another gloomy, gray rainy day on Cape Cod. I had to go to Stop 'n Shop to send my daughter in Florida some money by Western Union and I had my camera with me. Snapped these beautiful roses while I was there. So much prettier than anything else I looked at today. I didn't even need to buy them. Just seeing them and taking a picture was enough to cheer my day.
Danmooredesigns and Carol, you both gave me an incredible moment. Part of reason I've been doing this project is so that I can see the beauty in my life every day. And I do, now, but I forgot to take the time to smell the flowers. I was so worried an employee would yell at me for holding the flower case open or taking a pic, that I snapped, snapped, snapped. And then when I closed the flower case, I looked up to see a local butcher I used to work with when I was a teenager watching my odd behavior. I explained it, but still felt odd...
