Sorry, I couldn't help myself with the corny title. This morning was overcast, but balmy so I drank my cup of coffee out on the back deck. The air was filled with the sounds of happy birds. I noticed a chickadee family moving into this birdhouse my grandmother painted for me. We have a family there every single year, despite the fact that my husband hung it a little too close to our slider for most birds' comfort. The mom was busy moving in (her little foot on the doorway made this my choice), while the dad was in a nearby tree trying to stare me down to make me go away. Or maybe vice versa?
Balint and I were just commenting on the great birdhouse, your grandmother did a fantastic job. Who wouldn't want to move in here! Nicely captured, I like the leg up, also.
that is so cool! it is painted so sweetly! looking forward to seeing pics of baby birds.
AND thank you SO much for your incredibly touching words on my 365th. They really mean so much to me! It's crazy how fast this year has gone. . .
Laurie.. I love the birdhouse and chickadees are one of my favorites.. because they are bolder than most birds .. I have actually hand fed them ... Nice shot!!!
