My son chose this one. The boy who usually makes fun of my flower shots actually liked this one. Then again, my camera never left my yard today, so he didn't have tons to chose from.
@5unflow3r The composition of that bokeh is a bit off (too close to the flowers), but I kind of loved the Mickey Mouse shape of it. Sometimes the choice of photos is a private joke.
Great job with this one. Your bokeh is really good. I like the MIcky Mouse shape you caught on accident. Very cool when something interesting is captured behind the shot without even trying.
again...i present the award for the best comment ever..to..the one and only Laurie Higgins.....loving the backyard bokeh my friend..i can't wait to give you a hug...and sad to say that i have not seen your boy tarzan around the streets of venice since that day. i keep on looking for him...xoxoxooxoxoxoxo
@robinwarner Thank you once again for boosting me up! Please keep looking for Tarzan. Now my imagination has gone wild...did he go back home, did his parents have someone kidnap him to take him to an Outward Bound type program, or did he simply succumb to life in the streets and the evils of drugs...the writer in me really wants to know and now my imagination is on fire.
@yoshi It took me months to figure out how to achieve bokeh. It's about tightly focusing in on one thing, which makes the background blur. I'm certainly no expert, but I'm sure there are some great tips on this site. People here are wonderful about sharing their ideas and techniques.
Loving your project, hope you are enjoying bringing it to everyone x
I love bokeh and I can never get the bokeh in my shots to look this pretty!
great shot
