It was a dark and rainy day on Cape Cod today, but this sea of pumpkins completely covered the front yard of a Congo Church in Yarmouth. They were the brightest spot of color I saw today.
great shot!
people r making pumpkin pie/muffins lately
we even have pumpkin ice cream for sale now
and I've never tried any of them
I don't think I've ever had pumpkin before!
something tells me I won't enjoy it haha
great shot for a rainy day
@yoshi Oh, Yousef, you must try pumpkin! It is not only delicious, but nutritious! Start with a pumpkin muffin - the moistness will slay you! Your story about the farmer chasing you off his property really made me laugh. The farmers I've met are all really friendly and proud to show off their stuff. Maybe that guy was growing something he shouldn't have. Just saying...
this pic makes me smile! i'm not a fan of pumpkin pie but i love any fall scene involving pumpkins and gourds. so cheerful in what are often dark and wet days, around here at least. your pumpkin muffins sound delish!!! recipe? ;-)
@yoshi Laurie is right, try pumpkin! We get these pumpkin ravioli in the fall and they are heavenly! Or try pumpkin soup. Muffins are easier to get though...you will not be sorry. :-)
