Parking in Boston by lauriehiggins

Parking in Boston

We went to Boston to see "Fela!" at the theater last night and didn't get home until after midnight, so I'm posting a day late. We got stuck in the horrific construction traffic at the bridge, so we barely had time to grab a bite to eat before the show, let alone take pictures.

Afterwards, my husband was not feeling the 365 love. He just wanted to get home. I think he was a bit grouchy that he had to watch an Afrobeat musical rather than the Bruins play in game seven of the Stanley Cup. So this is the only shot I got in Boston. The show was awesome, even if my photo of the day isn't.
Just think - you spared him the misery of watching his team lose game 7. My Rangers play game 7 tonight at the Garden!

What a night! Sounds fun even with the craziness! I love that you found a shot anyway! Good job, Laurie!

Your story is awesome . You were in Boston on the night when Bruins were playing at home game 7 ? No wonder your husband was little edgy. We are Bruins fans too. Too bad they are out.

@michaelelliott Except that Boston fans are incredibly superstitious! He actually posed the theory that they might have WON if only he had been watching. I told him that was magical thinking. At least now he will shave. Enjoy your team's game!

Hi Laurie, have been trying to email you, have you changed your address? If so can you please email me? Hope all is well! Glad you made it home safely from Boston!

Nice one. Boston traffic is always murder. He would have been more PO'd if he had seen them lose in person :-)

Hi, I received you email! Thanks! However when I replied to it once again it was sent back to me saying that the service is unavailable. Don't know what the prob is. All well here, just wanted to say how much I LOVED your Hawks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not familiar with Fela. Hope you had a wonderful time. I would not envy anyone in that traffic.

You are a brave woman to tackle that bridge traffic! I'm glad you enjoyed the show after all that and managed to get a good shot besides. :-)

The only thing I think about parking in Boston is, Ka-ching! An expensive endeavor.

Sounds like a fun evening (for some anyway) ;)

Glad it was a good show--makes all the trouble worthwhile!

That garage is so confusing also! Your husband would have been more frustrated if he had watched the Bruins.
