I had to take my Canon into the shop to get the sensor cleaned, so I had to revert to my backup p&s today. It felt so light! I'm hoping my big camera is ready before we leave for Vermont tomorrow.
I need to do that, really do, but I have none to fall back on. I keep telling my Wife that is why I need to buy a new camera. Somehow she doesn't seem to understand :(
@digitalrn@webfoot I have my sensor cleaned twice a year. My local camera shop is great about getting my camera back to me quickly because they know I use it for work. I usually have it back within a day and it costs about $50. The way I can tell that it's dirty is by taking a photo of plain blue sky. If there are spots and squiggly lines then it's time for a cleaning.
@sailingmusic It is Rock Harbor. It's one of my favorite places to take photos, especially in the winter when all the boats are gone. I was just bummed I didn't have my good camera when I took this.
Great texture in the clouds and water, and the rigid poles to bridge the two. The perspective wonderfully leads the eye to the birds. Is that snow on the poles in the foreground?
Lovely image BTW X
