The Advertising Challenge

I've never posted a photo like this, and the only thing I know for sure is that a career change to advertising is not in my future. My son was a good sport, though, and I had alot of fun playing with editing in ways that I have never done before. Sometimes it's good to get out of your comfort zone.
What a good sport he was, and I like the results.

I just read your comment on my danbo/book shot. I had never realized until you pointed out about the letters on the front cover. How very observant of you. What a difficult read - she is so forthright and honest. And has had so much thrown at her. Anyway, most of those books aren't for "reading" but for browsing. :) xo

@aj1268 I'm not sure the code I'm talking about shows up in Stephanie's photo. The cover of the book is plain with just the words Joan Didion and "The Year of Magical Thinking." Joan's only daughter was in a coma and her husband suddenly died. The memoir is about her first year after he died (her daughter died eventually too). But four letters on the cover are a different color and when you put them together they spell "John," which was her husband's name. It gave me goosebumps when I realized that.

@lauriehiggins I actually Googled it. Once I saw they spelled out "John", I got a brief synopsis of what the book was about. I may have to check this book out.

@aj1268 It really is an incredibly moving book. I highly recommend it, even though it made me cry. It's a lovely tribute to a long term marriage of true soul mates.

Cool shot. The way he is holding the can you can see only D.K. , which I find neat .
