Tattered Snow Fence

Finally we had some sun, albeit very weak sun. I headed to my favorite beach to take a walk late afternoon. This is all that is left of the snow fencing I have used as the foreground of countless sunset shots. The whole line of it was wiped out by the storms and big waves.

I can't get over how messed up the Cape got this winter. I tried to get down to see the boardwalk Sandwich, but there were cars lining the street and I couldn't even get into the parking lot (which was why I ended up at the Canal). Pretty, but sad, shot.

When you have so many days of grey skies and damp wet weather, any amount of sun is a welcome. I hope things warm up and dry out a bit for you real soon.
