This photo is inspired by the poet Stanley Kunitz, who always gave every single task the exact amount of time it required and lived a live of grace, language, gardening and friendship. As soon as I saw this hosta plant, I knew it would be the photo of the day for its emotional resonance and the lessons I need to keep learning.
