I think this little girl is of the Karen ethnic minority from Myanmar. I found her on the playground outside Thoo Mweh Khee Migrant School in Mae Sot, Thailand. She is wearing thanakha (သနပ်ခါး), a cosmetic paste made from ground bark, which is a distinctive feature of the culture of Myanmar.
