It's a full moon tonight, so I wanted to get a moonrise photo. My idea was to get the moon behind our town's water tower, so I looked up the direction of the moonrise, then used the map to find a likely spot opposite the water tower. I went there and waited for the round moon to come up. I was not far enough from the water tower for the right size ratio with the moon, and since the sun had just gone down, the water tower wasn't lit well enough to see the town's name on it while still getting some detail on the bright moon. But before my failed attempts at getting a photo with the water tower, I took this one as the moon rose high enough to see.
