Every couple of years I try again to make some progress in digitizing some of my old vinyl albums, but I always have to give up on it after a few hours: too many other things are in worse need of doing. I could probably just buy all the tracks from Amazon or iTunes, but it seems a waste when I already have the recordings, and CDs made from MP3 files don't sound as good as made from good old uncompressed PCM files.
