Meet the Marsh Model 5-HT Hand Taper. No, it doesn't tape your hand: when you pull the paddle-topped handle toward you, this machine spits out a length of 3-inch-wide reinforced paper tape that is freshly "licked" on the bottom. When the length is right, you push the handle back and it neatly cuts the tape so you can use it to seal a box for shipping. It's an amazingly simple, effective, and trouble-free machine that just does what it's supposed to do. I wish everything worked like that.
