This fella came over to the fence to see what I was doing, and I didn't notice until I uploaded the pic to my computer, that he's actually biting down on the fence rail....maybe he has a dental issue?!? I have no clue about anything with horses! lol

Poor thing if that's what it is....he is a beautiful boy, even with all the prickly bits in his mane.

Great capture of such a beautiful horse.
As for biting the fence, he could have some dental issues but it could be harmless. Some horses enjoy the taste of iron (my horse loves to lick the hinges on her door after a meal) and both stallions and geldings, especially when they are young just enjoy nibbling on things. Or people. Which, ofcourse is less desirable, lol.
