Originally an old flour mill, building commenced in 1859 and was completed in 1861.....supplying flour to all the bakeries in the region. It has closed & reopened many times over the years, with one venture being a soap manufacturing facility during WW2, supplying soap to the ANZACS for their ration packs. Most recent years it has been a wine cellar door & restaurant.....but unfortunately is now closed down again. It has also been restored a few times over the years to get it to the condition it is in now. I have no doubt that it will one day reopen again, probably as another restaurant. I drive past this old mill practically every day, so thought I should stop & get a shot to include in my project....as it is a lovely old building :)
I am late posting today's photo as I've been super busy - will get back to commenting over the weekend.....have a good one :)
