Methodist church by leggzy

Methodist church

Out at Silverton, near Broken Hill in outback NSW - built in 1885. Apparently it previously was a Presbyterian church, but they sold it to the Methodist's after their church was destroyed by strong winds in 1891.

And yep, the sky really was THAT blue - I have not touched any editing with the colours in this shot....that's just outback Australia for you :)

Another of my fav older shots for my "Wind-Back Wednesday" theme. TFL :)
Cute little church in very stark surroundings.... great shot..

Tried to comment on this from my Paris hotel with its lousy Internet connection, so now I am home I can say that I love the building and that the sky makes a fantastic backdrop.
