Sadly, I don't have any information on this one! It is in a small village not too far from me, called Bendick Murrell. There were no signs etc, and I think it is now possibly privately owned. Since getting home & searching the internet, I am none the wiser on any details....no name, no denomination....nothing. It's all a bit of a mystery, really.....
There is still power feeding into it, so it's still got life. Maybe nit has been changed into a private dwelling. Agree with Merrelyn, the stonework is lovely.
Really nice stonework. Love the red door. The red door has a couple of meanings I believe depending what religion you are. some say it signifies the blood of Christ and some say it means sanctuary
