I have been a bit MIA for a week or more due to a few things out of my control - firstly, no internet in the entire town for 4 days (really makes you realise how much we rely on it when it's not available!), and secondly, an uncle in Ireland passed away (at the beginning of the 4 days with no internet), and no immediate family live in Ireland, all in Australia. I was wanting to go to Ireland to help organise things, attend his funeral etc.....but no internet to book flights, let alone look at what was available. It all became too hard, so I had to relinquish the idea & sadly give it a miss :( His funeral was on Saturday.
Then thirdly, I have been away for 4 days over Easter with no phone or internet service, so only just home tonight & now trying to catch up.
This is Kanangra Walls, looking from the lookout in the Kanangra Boyd National Park.....what an amazing view & spectacular scenery. We did a variety of walks every day & thoroughly enjoyed our surroundings. We actually walked right along the plateau at the top of the walls on our 2nd day....the views were just spectacular. Will share more in my catch up over the next few days :)
What a stunning landscape. Hope life settles down a bit for you, we really don't realise how much modern technology is essential in our day to day lives.
Magnificent scenery. Sorry to hear of your recent trials and tribulations. Hope everything settles down again soon. We don't realize how much we rely on technology until it isn't there.
Sounds like it has been a very chaotic, sad & frustrating few weeks. So much out of your control & then having the choice of no internet for your trip away to the Wall. Sounds like it has done your soul good. Amazing scenery.
