Before I attempted to cross the creek. Hubby is putting some extra rocks as the rocks that were already there were quite a distance apart in spots. I got to about the middle, and one of the new rocks he had put there was loose & unstable. I was trying to adjust it with my foot & ended up slipping - down I went & used my hand to break my fall. Ended up bending my right (dominant) index finger back that swelled quite considerably & ended up black & blue over the next week or so. That was almost 9 weeks ago & the swelling still hasn't gone down & is still very sore. I have had xray's, ultrasound & MRI, splints, strapping & ongoing physiotherapy. Hoping it is healed soon as I am over it with it going on for so long now.....
