This is the start of the valley of the eagles hike in Gundabooka National Park. A 5.7km return walk over rocky and very steep terrain up to the top of Mount Gundabooka, which rises 500m above the park. We were rewarded with sweeping 360 degree views of the National Park, but unfortunately we didn't see any eagles :(
Love that fence! I like how areas of the Australia look similar to the US Southwest. We have an Australian pine tree growing in our back yard and it's thriving.
