Banksia

During our drive through the Morton NP there were different areas where there were clumps of Banksia's, then there were quite large areas where there were none, which I thought was rather interesting. They are a beautiful & fascinating flower. I'm not sure what species of Banksia this is - if anyone might know, pls feel free to let me know 😉
