These are some of the chickens owned by the family we buy our eggs from. The grandchildren call them 'hedge eggs' because we buy them from a little shed in the hedge on a country road. The hens roam all over the place and there is a very eclectic mix. Eggs are all shapes and sizes, but always very fresh and truly free range.
