Chip Butty at the ferry by lellie

Chip Butty at the ferry

Susie Brian and I walked the 4,5 miles from their house at Landguard Common at one end of Felixstowe to Felixstowe Ferry at the other end, following the coastline all the way. It was a beautiful day. We had a chip butty and a cup of tea and then walked the 4,5 miles back!
Yum... What ferry?

@bulldog Felixstowe Ferry a tiny hamlet at one end of Felixstowe on the Deben Estuary. The cafe where we ate is called Winkles at the Ferry

Cool, I have a sister-in-law living in Ipswich and we used to take the boys to Frinton, just down the road...

That looks great Lesley, I do have a weakness when it comes to chips!

@bulldog

Oh, connections: Ipswich is my home town!

That was a heroic walk and well deserving of a chip butty! Did you have a really good trip to France?

That's a long way to go for a chip butty!! :-D

@quietpurplehaze We had a fabulous time in France, thanks for asking. Whereabouts in Ipswich did you live?
@frankie_4711 You're right, it was a long walk but a very nice one. @678tabby A carbohydrate sandwich! Probably not the best idea I ever had. My shorts felt tight all afternoon!

With all that walking you needed something to stick to your ribs, and this looks as if it would do exactly that.
