Had a cup of tea sitting outside Winkles at the Ferry this morning. It was chilly but the sun was beautiful.I'm a firm believer in getting out there, it's a long dark winter.
Lovely view, great composition and light. Now that I'm taking photographs every day, and my preference is still for outdoor shots, I agree with you about getting out there--but there will be some times this winter when I'll be staying in on Canadian winter days.

I feel blessed to live in such a beautiful part of the country and to be able to take shots like this only ten minutes drive from the house. Living between two estuaries and three rivers and the North Sea certainly throws up some interesting photo opportunities @tristansmum I'll bet there are many winter days where you are when staying in is the only option. I just get out whenever I can.
